In response to the attacks on the World Trade Center of September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush presented a strategy designed to protect the American people, the US economy and our way of life. The National Strategy For The Physical Protection of Critical Infrastructures and Key Assets was issued in February 2003 and has since become a blueprint utilized by the US Department of Homeland Security, its partner agencies and industry, to physically protect our critical infrastructures...and life.
